    About CRT and CORA

CRT builds CORA, a supervisory technology platform used by central banks and financial regulators in more than 20 jurisdictions. It covers regulatory reporting, supervisory workflows, analytics, and AI-assisted processing.

Our clients are the regulators themselves, not the institutions they regulate. Selling to them looks different as a result. Cycles run in years, procurement is formal, the buying committee is made of career specialists, and one supervisor's opinion of you reaches the next one faster than any marketing we could do.

Delivery is about ten people. You would work directly with the founders, our Chief Compliance Officer, the analysts, and the engineering team.

    The role

You own a regional portfolio of our supervisory clients: the relationship, the commercial thread, and the growth of each account.

Most of the job is account ownership. You are the named person for your clients: what we committed to, what state each engagement is in, whether the client is getting value, and what is about to go wrong before it does.

Growth comes out of that. Accounts here do not stay the same size, and a client that starts with regulatory reporting adds workflows, then analytics, then AI-assisted processing. Supervisors extend into new regimes and sectors. Spotting that early and closing it is yours. Prospecting new logos in new jurisdictions stays with the founders and the domain analysts. The measure of the job is your portfolio in three years, not your quarter.

There is no account management function here yet. The founders carry the relationships alongside everything else, and much of what this seat becomes is up to you.

Worth saying plainly: you are the person who tells a central bank the request is out of scope, or that the date they announced internally does not survive contact with delivery. Then you keep the relationship anyway.

    What you will do

    • Own a regional portfolio as the named senior contact, from the project sponsor and department leads to the executive layer that signs.
    • Put a governance rhythm in place where none exists. Reviews, status reporting, escalation paths, planning conversations.
    • Carry the commercial thread: contracts, renewals, change requests, scope, pricing, and procurement coordination with our Chief Compliance Officer.
    • Keep an account plan per client and a portfolio forecast you can defend. Capacity and hiring decisions get made on your numbers.
    • Find new work inside your accounts and run it end to end: qualification, solution shaping with the analysts and engineering, proposal, negotiation, close. They carry the domain content, you run the commercial side.
    • Handle tenders and formal procurement. Public-sector buying rewards process discipline and punishes improvisation.
    • Build the network around your accounts: regional supervisory bodies, sector associations, peer regulators, the events where those people actually are.
    • Bring what you hear back into the product conversation. You will see the same request across three supervisors before anyone else does.
    • Protect the margin. Scope creep here is quiet and constant, and someone has to name it out loud.

    What you bring

    • 5+ years in account management, client partnership, commercially accountable customer success, or B2B business development, owning both retention and growth of named enterprise or public-sector accounts.
    • A track record of growing an account. Be ready to walk us through one you took from a single engagement to several.
    • Long-cycle, multi-stakeholder selling. Formal procurement, committee decisions, and a signatory you have to earn access to.
    • Credibility with senior specialists. Our clients can tell within a few minutes whether you understand their world.
    • Commercial construction: proposals, pricing, contract terms, and change requests, negotiated by you without a founder holding the pen.
    • The ability to say no to a client and keep the relationship.
    • Enough technical fluency to follow a conversation about data flows, integrations, and delivery constraints. No code required.
    • Excellent written and spoken Croatian and English. Client work is mostly English; internally we use both.
    • Willingness to travel to client sites several times a year and to flex around client hours.
    • A considered view on AI-assisted tooling for research, account analysis, and drafting, including where it does not help.

You do not need prior suptech experience.

    Useful additional experience

    • the public sector, central banks, financial supervisors, or other regulated government institutions
    • suptech, regtech, fintech, or enterprise software, on either side
    • Basel III, Solvency II, IFRS, IORP, MiCA, DORA, or another supervisory framework
    • formal tenders and development-bank-funded procurement
    • accounts across several time zones, particularly the Caribbean, Latin America, or Southeast Asia
    • HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive, or comparable, kept current enough to hand over
    • working alongside delivery and engineering teams rather than at arm's length
    • French

    First 90 days

You own the portfolio. You have met the people who matter at every account, every account has a plan, and when a founder joins one of your calls it is because the client expects to see them.

    Working at CRT

    • Remote anywhere in the EU, with occasional trips to Zagreb.
    • Flexible hours. Zagreb time is when most of us overlap, and some of your portfolio will sit a long way from it.
    • Client travel several times a year, reimbursed.
    • Laptop and phone provided.
    • Time off above the statutory minimum is negotiable.
    • A direct line to the founders and to senior supervisory officials. This is our first commercial hire, and the function grows around whoever does it well.

    How we hire

Three weeks from first call to offer is the target.

    1. Screening call. Fit, scope, portfolio and travel, working arrangement.
    2. Account case: a real scenario from our client work, with an active engagement, a delivery problem, and a growth opportunity nobody has picked up. You present how you would run it, then we talk it through.
    3. Psychological assessment. We explain the format and purpose before this stage.
    4. Founder meeting, with the CEO and the Chief Compliance Officer.
    5. Offer.
